This I took while on the USS Gridley. The Navy sent me to it for a couple of days to assist with showing some of their people how to photograph the Russians when they were near them. I got dropped off onto it on this very helicopter (from the USS Hood) and ended up being stuck on it for about a week. They said the seas were too rough to pick me up. An experience to say the least. I was pumped to get back to the carrier.
